Hotels continue to push themselves in terms of design as new materials, knowledge, and technology emerges. One of the results of this is the glass bottomed pool. a unique twist on the already popular infinity pools. Glass bottomed pools are starting to become more of a regular occurrence in high end apartment builds for the residential market and in many resorts/hotels as they continue to push the boundaries of what is possible. For example, Hotel Mys Khao Yai has a suspended infinity pool with glass wall AND bottom. Or at Six Senses Zil Pasyon where the glass bottom becomes a core part of the space. I've listed 10 pools below - all with glass bottoms. Remember that the color-coded dots instantly indicate the price as listed on the Hotel Map page. I have also listed the estimated prices but be aware that these obviously constantly vary depending on the hotel and exchange rates.

The pool stretches out past the edge giving you great views of the city and the street below through the glass bottom. This hotel has over 500 rooms!

Centrally located, Einstein St Gallen is suited to most travelers and has a balance of both business and leisure facilities. The glass bottomed pool is a little different to the ones I have listed so far. The pool is located indoors in the wellness area with the glass at the bottom looking through to the gym - a floor below.

9. ⚫SIX SENSES ZIL PASYON - SEYCHELLES

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is a super luxurious and exclusive resort. The accommodation ranges from 2-bedroom villas to 4-bedroom residences. Six Senses choose the most stunning locations for their hotels, and this one is no different, located on Felicité Island. The glass bottomed pools (yes plural) are not in a communal area. You can find these in the 3-4 bedroom villas. The pools are perched on the upper deck with glass views through to the living area (see pics).

10.🟠 LE WESTIN MONTREAL - CANADA

Le Westin Montreal is located a pet friendly hotel located in Old Montreal. It is also part of the Marriott hotel chain and has over 400 rooms!

The pool is located indoors (which makes sense weather wise) alongside a hot tub. The glass bottom looks down onto the hotel entrance, making it a feature you can see even before you walk into the hotel.
