  • 6 min read

Whilst Koh Kood is Thailand's 4th largest island, most of the island remains unspoiled and is known for its laid-back atmosphere, crystal clear beaches, and several fishing villages dotted around the island.

These 11 beachfront resorts in Koh Kood are highly recommended and well-rated, catering to all different budgets. All of them offer a prime beach location, with rooms located only a short distance from the water.

Select from the drop-down menu below for even more information on the best months to visit and how you might get there.

WEATHER IN KOH KOOD:

HIGH SEASON The high season on Koh Kood is from November - February. November being the shoulder season start to the dry season and a great time to go if you want slightly cheaper accommodation but still relatively good weather. During high season the seas are calm for water sports/swimming, the humidity is low and being the dry season less rain.

LOW SEASON

The low season is from around July to September. This is the rainy season with rough seas, storms, high humidity, and plenty of rain. If you want the cheapest accommodation this is the time to go with the least favorable weather conditions. The pro of the monsoon season is seeing Koh Kood turn into an abundant green landscape. A con to note is that rougher seas may mean the ferry schedule is affected.

BEST TIME TO VISIT KOH KOOD SUMMARY: For best beach weather: December and February For best shoulder season months: March-May, October, or right before peak in November.
